Contact info: Here. Note: If I don't reply via ICQ or AIM please contact me by email. I tend to be busy and might accidentally ignore you if you don't make it clear why you're messaging me :)
Please, before you contact me wanting a commission, look at my DeviantArt site as well as these pages and make sure you like my style. I know this seems like common sense, and I'm willing to experiment and try new things, but if you don't like what I've already done, you probably won't like what I'll be able to do for you. Spend a few minutes looking at my art beforehand and make us both happy.
What I am willing to do: Anthropomorphs, fantasy scenes, well-described alien creatures, mechanical things if a photo reference is available (I cannot do fantasy mechanics, with the exceptions of cyborgs and other partially-biological critters yet.), nudes, sexual scenes (provided the idea appeals to me and there aren't an excess of fluids).
What I am NOT willing to do:
Pedophila (Depicting underage characters with adult characters in a sexual sense)
Scat or golden showers.
"Gore-fests", meaning an excess of blood and gore, intestines or other entrails, etc.
Obviously copyrighted characters. If you're on a Lion King muck and you want your character to be done in that style, sure, but don't ask me to draw you a Simba/Nala/Ed orgy. It ain't gonna happen.
If you think that something might fall into one of these categories but you aren't sure, drop me a line. It can't hurt to ask, and I promise I won't bite.... much.
If you are interested in a commission, drop me a line. I will need the following information from you:
Character type/species etc. (For example, anthro llama.) Please be as specific as you can, and if you have photo references or previous artwork done of this character, please include links to it. Do NOT send me photo attachments, I cannot accept them due to the risk of viruses.
Style desired. Do you want this realistic or more disney/anime styled? My usual mix is quasi-realistic, but I'm willing to lean further to either side if this is desired, or try an entirely new style. Do you want a thick or thin (nonexistant?) line width.
Character details. These are, but not limited to:
- Age
- Gender
- Hair style/color
- Unusual markings, scars, fur patterns, or tattoos
- Fur/skin/scale coloring
- Unusual aspects. Horns, third eyes, odd numbers of limbs.
- Clothing colors/styles/if any.
Pose ideas. What do you want your character to be doing? If you can, a photo reference would be muchly appreciated.
Background/setting ideas.
Pricing
The general way that things go is that once you contact me for a commission, I email you back with any missing information that I need, and then I do a couple of sketches to verify that I have your idea correct. Then I ink the artwork and either transfer it onto a clean copy or scan it in and work digitally, depending upon what you want. I don't accept payment until I'm about two-thirds of the way done. I accept paypal and postal moneyorders. Other methods of payment would need to be discussed.
Note: I am aware that most artists who take commissions have different policies, such as a half-before and half-later thing. If my policy is abused and people request sketch after sketch without paying me, I will change it. Ripping artists off makes me a sad panda.
Note 2: All prices are subject to alteration at my discretion. I might charge more than I would normally if your ideas are highly complex or if they include multiple figures. I don't like doing complex backgrounds in prisma, they usually turn out poorly and they eat up expensive pencils. A complex background is, for example, an underwater scene or a busy city. A clearing in a forest is much much better. Please keep physical backgrounds simple.
